After becoming aware of the impact of fast fashion on our planet, we were inspired to take action—and that's how Ngaia was born.
Our mission is to reduce textile waste by creating high-quality products from fabrics that still have so much more love to offer. We breathe new life into these beautiful materials, drawing inspiration from the remarkable women in our lives who made cherished items from beloved fabrics during our childhood. By reviving this art form, we celebrate the story woven into each garment.

Our Name
At Ngaia, our name is inspired by Gaia, the Greek goddess of the Earth. The 'N' in our name represents one of our co-founders and forms an anagram of "again," reflecting our commitment to reuse.
Our lovely swan is inspired by the tale of the Ugly Duckling; a reminder that true beauty always shines from within. It also stands for “Sleep Well at Night” embodying peace of mind from making a positive impact. The feather signifies lightness and minimal impact, while also representing collective strength and power.
Together, these elements capture our mission to create sustainable, beautiful clothing for children.
